So, 2021 didn’t quite go to plan. COVID stuck around all year, culminating with me sitting at home on NYE reasonably unwell with COVID… But that’s in the past now! I’m hoping to get back on the reviewing bandwagon this year & improve on the measly 13 Year of the Local posts we got up in 2021… I knew I was busy, but 13 seems a crazy low number to me!
Right now there are 71 Victorian brewers that I still need to profile. If you look at it across a full year, that’s less than 1.5 a week. I think, even for me, that’s achievable. There’s sure to be some further additions to that, I know that it will be 72 within the next fortnight, and I’m sure the odd contract brand will go the way of the Dodo as well, but regardless we should be able to get close! Finally! Hopefully! Maybe?
Who knows what this year will throw up! The plan to kick off the year is to post retrospective Golden Pints Awards for 2019 & 2020, looking back at previous winners showed me how useful it can be. 2021’s Golden Pints will follow, complete with accompanying podcat. The podcast is recorded & is with Dylan in post-prouction so won’t be too far away. I’ve also had a few requests for an Untappd Update, so with anyluck I’ll get that up as well, whilst attempting to stick to at least 1.5 YOTL posts per week!
